Signostics launches SignosRT Bladder Scanner in Europe
Medical device company, Signostics, is launching its affordable SignosRT Bladder scanner in Europe and the United Kingdom, including a new tablet-based version.
The announcement comes as the company prepares to unveil the products at the European Association of Urology (EAU) conference in Madrid this week.
The SignosRT Bladder products are affordable, portable devices designed to use ultrasound technology to automatically and non-invasively calculate bladder volume and have the potential to assist in reducing health care costs in hospitals and home-care support services.Continue Reading…
Signostics appoints medical ultrasound pioneer Kevin Goodwin as new CEO
Australian medical device company Signostics Limited today announced the appointment of Kevin Goodwin as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer.
Mr Goodwin, who is based in Seattle, has 28 years’ executive experience in the ultrasound industry, with 17 years as the CEO and founder of point-of-care innovator and multinational, Sonosite Inc.
As CEO of Sonosite, Mr Goodwin led the company from its pre-revenue spin off as a US NASDAQ-listed company from April 1998. The company went on to be the category creator and leader in the point-of-care ultrasound market. Sonosite ultimately reached revenues of $300 million under Mr Goodwin’s guidance.Continue Reading…
